Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
12 oz. white chocolate baking chips and or semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well mixed. Add the unsweetened chocolate, eggs and vanilla; beat well. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Gradually beat into batter. Stir in white baking chips and/or chocolate chips. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack. Makes 5 dozen.
