Marinated Barbecued Chicken
Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup oil
2 T. wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 (3 lb.) chickens, cut into serving pieces
Preparation
In a medium size bowl, combine all the ingredients except chicken until
blended. Place chicken pieces in a large plastic zipper bag. Pour marinade
over chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Pat chicken pieces dry
with paper towels. Place on barbecue as far away from hot coals as possible.
Barbecue chicken for 35 to 45 minutes, turning often to prevent scorching.
